Our client, a leading global financial services company, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 140 countries. They provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.

This new role will report directly to the head of ETS. It will bring together the group's program portfolio strategic planning, executive and client communication.

Responsibilities will include partnering with senior managers and internal clients, as well as technology experts, to create and document the strategic roadmap across the organization, and determine "how it all comes together”. Such a role requires a balanced view of new technologies, business benefits and needs, being apprised of the latest regulatory developments, and understanding the impact of regulatory requirements on our work. Understanding of current risks, issues and dependencies, and communication with senior stakeholders are a must.

§ Support the senior management of ETS in various complex analyses that influence decisions making regarding technology implementation, budget and organizational planning
§ Continuously improve subject matter expertise in the business areas being supported, sufficient to become a trusted advisor to the business stakeholders, acting as a thought leader and a thought-partner to enable and to improve strategic and operational problem solving across the organization
§ Drive the documentation of our current state system architecture, as well as the development and documentation of the target state
§ Serve as the main channel of communication to internal teams and stakeholders regarding key program status
§ Drive the preparation of integrated and holistic technology input to regulatory and senior management inquiries

Skills and Experience - required
- 15+ years in financial services and / or Big 4 consulting roles
- A mix of technology background, finance and risk management in a financial services firm
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal direction
- Able to work well under tight deadlines and competing, at times changing, priorities
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong listening, requirements elicitation, analysis and problem solving skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively interface, influence and build alignment with individuals and multi-disciplinary teams across all levels of management
- Super-user of PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
- Experience leading, developing, and performing a variety of quantitative analyses
