The North American/Latin American (NAM/LATAM) Client Reporting Group is responsible for the quality of Financial and Demographic Data that is viewed by internal and external clients via the Private Banks online client applications as well as through various reporting mediums.
The group works closely with the Banking and Product teams, Investment Counselors, Portfolio Managers, Operations, Technology, and other Global Client Reporting teams.
The Client Reporting Performance Measurement Analyst will report to the Head of our Tampa Client Reporting Group and will work to support the overall function of the Client Reporting Group.
The Client Reporting Group provides support in the following areas:
Financial Data Reconciliation
Investment Performance Measurement/Analysis
Quality Assurance over Legal Statements, Investment Reporting, Advice/Confirm generation and other various client reporting
Benchmarking and Investment fund analytics such as pricing and returns
Key responsibilities include:
Financial & Demographic data aggregation, reconciliation, and validation of The Private Bank's Legal Statement, Financial Reporting, Advices & Confirms, and Client Communication processes and output
Monthly statements checkout & reconciliation; coordination of statement process which involves data aggregation rules engine across all banking, lending, investment and capital markets products
Liaise with technology counterparts to understand and identify root cause of systemic issues and define proper remediation in a time effective manner.
Manage corrective activity as per internal guidelines to facilitate the statement regeneration process
Participate in UAT testing cycles which includes test case reviews with subject matter experts; creation of detailed test plans and scripts
Ability to identify functional enhancement opportunities, documenting business requirements, and raising technological change requests and lead the enhancement from design to testing all the way through to production
Liaison with users and development team to understand the required business process and applicable functionalities
Determine and devise data assessment and compilation, research techniques, data interpretation, and analytical methodology to use for key analysis purposes.
Manage coordination and application of reporting disclosures, footnotes, and client communication processes across multiple modules, working seamlessly and diligently with legal, compliance, and business counterparts
Monitoring and reporting historical monthly trends and defect tracking to define process optimization, enhancements, and process re-engineering opportunities
Ability to understand and translate large sets of complex data, quickly and efficiently to senior management
Detail-Oriented, able to multi-task, produce high quality, accurate work in a time sensitive manner
Qualification for position
Ability to proactively identify and resolve complex financial data integrity issues
Highly analytical with the ability to understand granular data within various contexts and comprehension of the "big picture”
Team oriented and able to collaborate effectively with organizational partners, internal & external, as we as various levels of management
Strong writing and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook.
Experience working with and running reports from a financial database a plus
Experience working with Investment Performance measurement would be a benefit
Knowledge of Investment and Banking products is preferred
Analytical with the ability to complete assigned tasks independently and within set deadlines
Excellent organizational and communication skills
