Function of role: Redeployment Specialist

Location: This critical role will be a blend of a Sourcing (finding/sharing talent), Relationship Management (building strong, collaborative relationships), Recruiter (placing talent), and Advisor (having the expertise to guide) role advocating for job discontinued employees. The TRS will work closely with the HR, the business, and the Talent Acquisition (TA) organization managing open and upcoming hiring needs.
The goal of this role is to support impacted employees by giving them choices to manage through a job impact, and to ensure they have a positive experience whether the employee stays or not with Major Global Bank; and in turn, retaining great talent and enhancing the employee experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate and build trusted relationships with HR Advisors, Generalists, Talent Acquisition, and the Business to understand the talent and position requirements with a focus on the knowledge, skills & abilities required to help place employees
• Partner closely with, and work on gathering insights, from the employees and internal market in with order to match them with potential roles within the firm aligned with their skill set and career interests
• Promote Major Global Bank brand and culture with employees, ensuring them that they still have options to continue their careers within Client
• Facilitate feedback to key stakeholders to ensure timely information sharing and coaching to employees
• Provide resume, interviewing and career advice to employees with the aim to help them redeploy into roles within the firm
• Track, analyze, and report important data points using Workday, Excel and Power Point and present on progress, trends, and generally success of redeployment efforts within the firm, as well as make suggestion to enhance the process overall.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience with ops & tech, and with hiring at all levels
• Knowledge of search and direct hiring
• Knowledge of the recruiting lifecycle, and HR policies & procedures
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Strong sales skills – ability to sell open roles and positively present to employees the opportunities available
• Ability to manage time proficiently while meeting deadlines with speed and efficiency
• Strong organizational skills
• Work well autonomously and with a team
