AVP Level - Project Manager Smart Automation

Currently recruiting for an Assistant Vice President-level professional with well-rounded project management experience related to technology deployment. Experience supporting the buildout and execution of a pipeline of work in robotics, chatbots, machine learning and other emerging technologies will be highly valued. Situated within organizations Smart Automation Center, your role will play an instrumental part in the evolution and customization of a Playbook that defines operations for use case identification through full implementation. Building and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders to support and develop use cases across the global enterprise will be a critical aspect of this position's scope.
Key Responsibilities:
• Program manage proofs of concept (POCs) and pilot implementations; support businesses and functions with POCs or the basic application of simple automation tools (chatbots, KTM, NLG, RPA) by developing use cases, liaising with Sourcing on contracting, IT on infrastructure and business leads to ensure requirements are available
• Support the buildout and customization of the Smart Automation Center's Playbook for automation tools, such as chatbots, RPA and NLG

• Assist in building the automation training strategy, including the articulation of different audience segments, training needs and content for each group
• Aid our Automation Catalysts in the identification of opportunities and building a book of work in partner areas by applying and customizing standard identification/prioritization tools
• In partnership with Technology, set up and maintain a knowledge sharing library for information about how to implement Robotics and reusable bot code
• Provide analysis and inputs into vendor strategy proposals
• Maintain a Risks and Issues Log for the overall program to ensure all items are addressed and actively managed to committed resolution dates
• Support Management with the preparation of materials to report on program progress
• Dedicated management and tracking of use cases across organization globally
• Train new team members in standard methodologies and tools
The Smart Automation Center is responsible for partnering with key stakeholders to:
• Research emerging technologies and work with Engineering and Sourcing Teams to evaluate POCs, compare technologies and identify potential solutions for known organizations issues
• Ensure best practice transfers across businesses and functions, while continually performing self-study to remain informed on the latest trends
• Work closely with Senior leaders across organization to further the mission of being the best for our clients
• Ensure all the elements are in place for the rapid deployment of emerging technologies and other related elements, including infrastructure, vendor agreements, training and a standardized playbook
• Support businesses and functions in identification of opportunities and help drive the execution of complex projects where needed
• Track and ensure coordination of organization Emerging Technology Book of Work
• Provide visibility and governance for Senior Management and the Board over the Emerging Technology program across organization

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years total post-graduate work experience (ideally with deep experience in financial services or past consulting experience)

• 2+ years of project experience related to technology deployment, ideally working with Robotics and other emerging technologies
• Excel and PowerPoint skills – this position requires the ability to thoughtfully build and present reports, so strong communication skills and a capacity to structure logical analysis in presentations are key requirements
• Previous experience in supporting the buildout and running of a pipeline of transformative work at an organizational level would be ideal
• Strong data analytics capabilities, especially cost analysis and internal/external benchmarking – benefit tracking is a critical component of this role
• Understanding the drivers of value, including the ability to size and prioritize large scale initiatives across businesses and functions
• Excellent time management skills are required, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple items at once

Job Skills/Qualifications:
• An undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution
• Agile Project Management experience highly preferred
• PMP or Prince Certification is desirable but not required
• Lean and/or Six Sigma Certification is desirable but not required
• Highly motivated, organized and methodical
• Logical, analytic and rational thinker
• Demonstrated team player
•Required Travel: 10% of the time
