Description
Our client, a leading global financial services company, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 140 countries. They provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.

Seeking to hire a Project Manager who will be responsible for providing overall project leadership and driving the successful delivery of various critical strategic project initiatives.

Position Responsibilities:
•Deliver projects on time and within budget and ensure strategic objectives and business requirements are effectively met.
•Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and ensure work products and processes meet defined organizational standards.
•Track key project milestones, risks and issues and recommend adjustments and mitigation to cross-functional team leadership.
•Lead weekly project progress updates and provide regular project status reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
•Communicate project strategy, direction and changes to supporting teams.
•Define and manage project dependencies, key milestones and success metrics.
•Be resourceful on ways mitigate risk to project schedules and bringing in schedule timelines.

Qualifications:
•Four (4) year degree, advanced degree preferred.

Experience & Skills:
•Generally, requires 6-8 years related experience within project/program management.
•PMP certification a plus.
•Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent verbal and written communication and strong follow through.
•Effective relationship building skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
•Must be able to develop various high, mid and low-level of project plans with key milestones and resource allocation.
•Proficiency with various project management methodologies, software and tools.
•Good understanding of Business and Functional analysis.
•Good familiarity with technology delivery lifecycle and engagement process.
•Strong collaborator with the ability to work with and influence at all levels of the organization, including cross-departmental teams and senior leadership.
•Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to pitch-in with other team members.
•Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and to interface with internal and external resources to define requirements.
•Knowledge of Banking disciplines including KYC (know your client), AML(anti-money laundering), Banking operations.
•Project Management and/or process reengineering experience in key banking functions such as sales, marketing, finance, risk, products, operations, technology or compliance.
