Our client, a leading global financial services company, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 140 countries. They provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.

Job Purpose:
Legal documentation is an area of high focus within the Financial services Industry. The Major Global Bank is currently running a number of programs and will be initiating further, strategic, projects to create Bank wide platforms, enhanced processes and strong controls. Client Legal Documentation team are looking to recruit a highly effective Project Manager to work closely with Client Leadership, RLAU processing team, Legal and various Business lines in performing critical analysis related to initiatives impacting the overall legal documentation lifecycle. This role will expand into various initiatives including, but not limited to, translation and input of collateral schedules, documentation of current state processes, analysis and mapping of collateral types into more granular asset class hierarchies working with Operations &Technology (O&T), Business and Legal to define future state approach. Assist in the creation of a more detailed project plan, tracking key milestones for RLAU.

Key Responsibilities:

This role is for an experienced business analyst / project manager with a strong track record of delivering a high quality performance. Key areas of focus will include:
- High level of interaction with Legal, Margin Operations, Financial Resource Management (FRM) and various Business lines RLAU support
- Perform extensive analysis of collateral eligibility schedules and mapping into detailed asset classes
- Work with analysts to dissect current and future state processes as it pertains to collateral eligibility schedule data capture (alongside O&T, Legal, FRM, Margin Ops)
- Assist in the documentation of migration approach, including pros and cons of options with time to market considerations
- Perform impact analysis comparing current to future state with a focus on Operational readiness
- Assist in coordinating the establishment of a data dictionary for all CSA (Credit Support Annex) terms and collateral types/ rules; gain in depth knowledge of their impact in downstream processes
- Assist in establishing a well-documented RLAU Operations plan, including tracking of key milestones with clear target dates, assumptions, dependencies, risks and milestone owners
- Assist in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination of all downstream consumers of collateral data changes / migrations from central legal data repository

- Experience in business analysis within fast paced Financial Services team
- Knowledge of agreement types serviced (ISDA, SFT, Margin Loan, MSFTA, etc.) preferred
- Frequent participation in working groups, with proven ability to operate at all levels of seniority
- Experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Ability to review and quickly interpret unfamiliar data; background in data management preferable
- Experience of working within a shared services function with a diverse client base
- Demonstrated experience of optimization in processes (legal/regulatory adherence an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of the Client environment, understanding of products and services offered to clients
- Proven ability to interpret and implement change
- Strong Leadership and Motivational skills
- Solid organizational skills including strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Project management skills including initiation, planning, monitoring and execution of a project
- Willingness to own an issue and bring it to completion
- Negotiating and influencing others
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite, including strong proficiency in Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Achieving/ Driving Results: Analytical skills for work flow, process and systems analysis
- Execution focused, overcomes obstacles and minimizes bureaucracy
- LEAN experience not essential but preferred
