Description
The New York City Department of Education is seeking (1) Microsoft Dynamic CRM in the Cloud Expert Developer to help manage the Microsoft CRM PKA and other instances. This involves CRM administration, upgrades, screen design/coding, table design/coding, bug fixing, data extraction, and general maintenance. The position will also help with the loading of data using the Scribe ETL Tool.
This Expert Microsoft Dynamic CRM Developer position is a crucial role to support the data integration between the DWH, MS Dynamic CRM in the cloud, and user requests for various enhancements. The person fulfilling the role will manage all aspects of the PKA use of MS CRM in the cloud (for contacting possible PKA candidates) by developing interfaces for the users and the source systems. The person fulfilling the role will be critical member of the team responsible for developing new components as well as maintaining and enhancing components already deployed in production. The position will also be responsible for the technical MS CRM infrastructure, maintaining CRM and other development tools, and developing CRM development standards. The position requires extensive knowledge and experience with the existing solution and technical architecture in order to efficiently develop and implement integration code required for meeting the aggressive project deployment schedule for projects.
The CRM Developer should be able to design and code jobs that are reusable assets to each integration effort. The data sent to CRM is placed into table structures that are usable by reporting, analytical, and other application systems
The MS CRM in the Cloud Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Be the lead designer/coder/person on all MS Dynamic CRM interactions.
- Work with the DIIT (Division of Information and Instructional Technology) Data teams to facilitate the implementation of and maintenance of the MS CRM Architecture
- Support the needed analysis, design, build, test and documentation of complex MS CRM solutions
- Support user acceptance test activities for the MS CRM solutions
- Design and develop MS CRM code using MS CRM Tools and the Scribe Soft Scribe ETL tools for the definition, development and testing of the processes and programs necessary to properly display data in MS CRM
- Work with other data analysts, business users and IT professionals to ensure that data requirements are met with the highest degree of integrity and efficiency that is practical and cost effective
- Ensure that documentation is captured, maintained, understood by and available to business and/or IT partners
- Participate in, or facilitate, business process and requirement sessions to ensure that all fully understands the requirements and the data necessary to support those requirements
- Develop, test and manage MS CRM jobs to specifications and design
- Participate in focus group sessions as needed for PKA/CRM needs discovery
- Perform data mapping between data and CRM screens
- Perform overall MS CRM design and development skills and technical documentation experience
- Code in various shell scripting languages
- Develop the Scribe ETL of data into MS Dynamics CRM in the Cloud
- Independently perform independent data research
- Independently design, code test, and promote to production MS CRM, Scribe ETL, SQL, and Scripts
- Independently design, code test, and promote to production MS CRM Jobs/Screens
- Independently interface with various internal and external clients
- Independently document the design, code, and test plans
- Independently troubleshoot CRM job, CRM Screen, and CRM data issues
