Job Title: Operations Analyst, FinTech

The Major Global Bank FinTech Operations team has strategic and operational responsibility for the day-to-day work of Major Global Bank FinTech. S/he is a key stakeholder in our strategic planning and is on point for collectively achieving our organizational goals. The team coordinates work across all Major Global Bank FinTech teams and functions to ensure end-to-end consistency and support. The Operations team is also a central culture agent for Major Global Bank FinTech, bringing to life the unique principles that drive us.
This role will support the FinTech Team at Major Global Bank's New York sites.

- Business manager in support of FinTech Operations Organization
- Executive reporting
- Culture carrier across the organization
- Champion great place to work across New York sites (including Long Island City and Roosevelt Island) by being the single Point of Contact for the local team

Specific Leadership Responsibilities:
- Culture and Employee Engagement
o Develops and executes strategies and initiatives to reinforce FinTech's culture and values that engage the FinTech team
o Support Culture Club planning and events
o Develops and executes strategies and initiatives to reinforce FinTech's culture and values that engages the FinTech teams
o Champions the FinTech culture and VOE plan
o Coordinates culture events including, but not limited to, team building, philanthropic, educational and social events. Ensures smooth logistics and administers post-event surveys for future improvement opportunities
- Communications
o Coordinates agenda, planning, distribution list maintenance and execution of site-specific communications such as WOW, brown bag sessions, town halls, Demo Days, speaker panels, etc.
o Liaises with GPA and/or teams, as applicable, on any presentation materials and speaker preparation
o Creates and administers post-event surveys; leverages feedback to improve upon future communications
o Work with Design & Tech teams to provide content for both the FinTech Weekly Newsletter and What's Up on Wednesday agenda items
- Financials
o Oversees FinTech Culture budget for Dallas site
o Ensures practices are consistent with Major Global Bank's values of responsible finance
- Facilities and Technology Maintenance
o Serve as the liaison for technology and facilities management to ensure timely and accurate resolution of on-site issues and tickets
o Work with AV and IT support to ensure technology functionality and uptime
o Maintain office supplies, ordering and inventory
o Pantry maintenance, ordering, stocking and supply
o Reservation and booking system maintenance and execution for conferencing needs (including Conference Room 10 Large calendar)
o Grant badge and facilities access requests for on-site and remote locations upon visitation to the site
o Maintain master LIC Floor Seating Plan
o Community manager for FinTech and be a lifeline for the team with complete site ownership
o End to end site ownership and maintenance across two office locations and ~250 employees and contractors
- Systems Support
o Intralinks Administrator
o Distribution List Administration
o Major Global BankMarketplace Request Support
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum 3-5 years experience, ideally gained in a high-growth organization
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in a context of profound cultural and industry change
- Proven ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
- Previous experience in a role that required that collaboration, influencing and trust building among peers and employees to meet corporate objectives
- Proven ability to operate simultaneously as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker
- Ability to maintain high accuracy and excellent attention to details
- Ability to solve problems, to think and work efficiently/effectively on one's own
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
- Effective and courteous verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Proven track record to handle sensitive correspondence, financials and investment memos with confidentiality
- Enjoy collaborating and commingling with people from a wide variety of cultures
- Proactive with excellent follow up
- Works efficiently and calmly under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable to change
