Our client, a leading global financial services company, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 140 countries. They provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.

Job Summary: Role will be comprised of numerous management and operational tasks as they relate to telephony, network Infrastructure and management of communication rooms.

Job Description: The successful candidate is a self-starter, results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation. Candidate is an exceptional listener and communicator, possessing the ability to effectively convey information verbally and in writing. Success in this role will be easily attained by candidates who take a technical approach in support of voice and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technology background in Avaya telephony, Cisco networks, and cable plant infrastructure. The right candidate is a flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring the ability to proactively prioritize and multi-task on infrastructure projects as well as a strong skillset in troubleshooting complex voice connectivity issues. Requirements also include BAU support for heavy volume trouble ticket and MAC queues for a high touch Investment Banking environment. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to hands on infrastructure support for voice, video, network, telephony, and communication room management.

Job Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 5-7 years of work experience in desired fields (infrastructure technology).
Cisco ICND and Category 6A certified and familiar with Client (TE) Category 6 and 6A cabling as well as Corning 50M fiber optic infrastructure.
5 to 10 years of experience with layer one infrastructure, Avaya telephone systems, and Cisco networks.
5+ years of experience in large corporations in support of telecommunications, and working with clients, peers & vendors.
Demonstrate high quality of interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to properly communicate project status and escalate issues in a timely fashion.
Excellent problem solving abilities and innovative thinking as they pertain to telephony and networking.
Experience with Microsoft Access / Excel, Avaya MSA, and SSH Tectia terminal.
Possess strong documentation skillset to maintain voice, network and cable plant inventory.
Requirements also include a strong TCP/IP background, knowledge of high speed circuits (DSL, T1, OC3, etc), and knowledge of legacy telephony infrastructure.

Educational Level: Bachelor's degree or equivalent 5 -7 years of experience in desired fields
