Our client, a leading global financial services company, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 140 countries. They provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.
Specifically, this person will be involved in the engineering work associated with Industrial Control Systems and AWS Cloud solutions for projects. Job Background/context:
The team has the need for a Network Engineering Analyst for the Client Realty Services at a Major Global Bank supports the internal Building Management Systems and the Industrial Controls Systems (ICS) program globally across Client. Major Global Bank invests large sums of money on Building Management technology and solutions, which you can see deployed in our all locations such as branches, corporate headquarters, campus, and data centers globally.
This individual should have knowledge of Networks, Firewalls and Firewall rules and some Building Management Systems and software as well as a background in some code development and information security. The Ideal candidate will have experience of delivering, analyzing, and developing Firewall rules that will be implemented by other teams within the Major Global Bank. These solutions will be migrated to Campuses and Branches across Major Global Bank enterprises and must show the ability to be a fast on the job learner.
-To lead the network onboarding solutions for the Industrial Control Systems cloud solution for identified buildings and branches across the Major Global Bank globally. They shall be the main point of contact and expect to become the subject matter expert in the networking piece of the ICS Cloud solution.
-Liaising with key stakeholders in the business, networking, and the operational support teams to ensure the product life cycle is managed.
-They will be tasked with documentation delivery and firewall rule requests that engages the proper teams to implement the ICS Cloud solution to buildings and branches.
-3rd level technical support as needed.
-Document findings and resolve issues and gaps with the ICS Cloud solution by working with vendors and internal teams within Major Global Bank.
-Work with various teams to keep the onboarding process moving forward with few delays.
-Experience with Active Directory, certificate management and encryption methods and security protocols.
-Tracking and reporting on test results, issues and resolution of issues found during the onboarding process.
-Develop Domain knowledge on the Major Global Bank's IT Security Engineering -Related technology environment.
-Exposure to wide range of physical security technologies deployed globally
-Subject Matter Expert & Technology Consulting across Banking technology horizontals.
-Experience of working in a very large technology environment and catering for the needs of a diverse set of business users
Skills & Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree (in science, computers, information technology or network engineering)
-Up to five years or more experience in an engineering role
-Good understanding of IT security and information security principles
-CISSP or other security related certifications are desirable.
-Knowledge of firewalls and Active Directory
-Knowledge of the project management life cycle (requirements gathering, project skills)
-Entry level CCNA
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written required in English
-The candidate will have the highest possible integrity due to the sensitive nature of the information security role.
-The candidate must have strong technical writing skills and be able to communicate ideas and technical designs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
-The candidate should have excellent communication and influencing skills
-The candidate must be comfortable in working across geographies due to the global nature of the team.
-Organizational and project management skills required.
-Successful candidate should possess a strong work ethic, good interpersonal and communication skills and a high energy level.
-Ability to independently work with vendors in resolving issues and developing solutions
-Able to deliver results independently and without constant supervision.
-Experience in building highly available infrastructures
-Should be a self-starter with a high level of initiative and self-leadership
-Proficient with MS Office -Visio, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
-Some experience in JIRA, Sharepoint and Intralinks
-Experience with firewalls and firewall rules.
