The Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) Human Services Portfolio Andersen Work Experience Program (WEP) Credit Project a team of 9 HBITS contractors to establish a monetary Work Experience Program (WEP) credit to offset Temporary Assistance (TA) payments issued to a case limited to the following recovery methods: real property liens, lottery intercept, 104 windfalls and personal injury awards. An electronic process needs to be developed that captures, calculates the credit and reports on the period of WEP participation hours and value for TA benefits only, using Actual Hours since 10/2017. By creating an automated solution to a manual process, this project will provide for a efficient and reliable method for local districts and OTDA to calculate and credit the value of time spent participating in an assigned WEP activity against his/her total recoverable TA grant issuance for purposes of recoveries under Title 6 of the Social Services Law (with the exception of Interim Assistance Recovery).
Candidate will be responsible for provide general system design, application programming, and documentation, coordination of changes, and unit and integration testing of programs, as well as guidance and mentoring of other staff. Programming tasks include complete unit routines or functional routines that make up discrete parts of functional units. Programming will utilize COBO, PL/SQL, COGNOS and Dot Net Languages.
