Description:

The SVP - Quantitative Analyst and Full-Stack Developer will join the Risk ID Data Science Team to perform analyzes and develop tools for quantifying the top, emerging, and other material risks of the firm. This individual will evaluate alternative techniques for quantifying these risks and will execute quantification analysis in effective and efficient manner. Also, this individual will work with colleagues on assessments and ranking of these risks. This role will have a significant impact on the Risk ID Data Science program and the overall Risk ID program by completing complex deliverables, directly developing and maintaining tools, supporting Risk ID Data Science Team core infrastructure, and providing advice and counsel related to technology or operations decisions.



The SVP - Quantitative Analyst and Full-Stack Developer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.



Responsibilities:

• Performing scenario analyzes to allocate/attribute impacts across businesses, geographies, and legal entities and describe risk factors driving the firm's results.

• Develop effective and innovative solutions to meet the needs of stakeholders with best practices technology and workflow solutions.

• Identify opportunities to add value beyond the scope of formal projects.

• Contribute to continuous team improvement and management, e.g., provide leadership in recruiting, coach junior staff, etc.

• Develop and document internal Risk ID Tools to improve workflows, assess risks, and facilitate analyzers.

• Perform Data Science assessment and analyzes as needed to meet business needs.

• Review, document, and maintain Data Architecture components of the Risk ID target state.

• Perform effective real-time analyzes of risks using related news sources and Natural Language Processing.

• Develop easy-to-use and well-documented code libraries for Data Science analytics, workflows, interfaces, and data validation related to Risk Identification.

• Perform code reviews and collaborative codebase development to produce best-in-class effective and maintainable development without accruing technical debt.

• Act as a core technology resource/lead/support for the Risk ID Data Science Team in areas of best coding practices, code management, technical development, protocols, interfaces, and system architecture, data architecture, and project design.



Qualifications:

• 3-10 years experience in financial services, 6-15 years experience in technology.
