They provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.

Job Overview

As a member of GFT's central Program Management team, the Program Management Senior Lead will be responsible for one or more technology programs supporting Finance. This individual is self-motivated and takes initiative to partner closely with development leads, internal clients, and all other relevant program stakeholders and contributors, to ensure programs are planned, managed and delivered successfully; that they meet client requirements and defined success criteria; that programs adhere to bank policy and procedures; and that sufficient transparency is provided to stakeholders throughout the life of the program.


Partner closely with Finance, Technology development teams, and other Stakeholders, to oversee a portfolio of programs, drive execution plans, and ensure successful completion of critical deliverables in the transformation portfolio.

Drive engagement and accountability of project participants. Ensure the right people provide inputs and approvals at the right times. This will include such tasks as ensuring the full scope of stakeholders are involved in scope definition and understand the program timetable and key milestones; working with internal audit and compliance to confirm a common understanding of the artifacts and deliverables need to support related testing and validation activities.

Proactively identify and document risks and issues, work with team members to define and execute risk mitigations, issue resolutions, and ensure appropriate and timely escalations.

Know company policies, procedures, and tools; ensure programs stay compliant with policy and procedures; ensure data is updated correctly and timely, in required tools;

Actively seek to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the program management and execution process, and work with partners to implement those ideas.


• 10 years of work experience in Technology and/or Program and Project management with a track record of driving results on large scale programs

• Ability to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced environment, take initiative and take on various assignments as needs arise.

• Success facilitating global and cross-functional teams

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, and analytically, and to creatively problem solve

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)

• Strong interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build relationships quickly, influence colleagues and clients, and increase collaboration among the program participants. Able to demonstrate a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests

• Well-developed listening skills and a strong ability to engage at the senior management level

• Willing to learn and adopt new tools, new processes

• Proficient in key software tools such as MS Office tools, Jira
