What you'll achieve

As a DevSecOps Product Manager, you will be responsible for

Defining the operational and functional capabilities of a suite of DevSecOps tools that meet the needs of many users-customers within a large enterprise.

You will support the improvements in operations and implementations of the tools by assessing customer needs, writing user stories, selecting stories in an Agile cadence, be the voice of the customer, and answer questions as implementation uncovers unclear requirements of stories.

The Product Manager will maintain the backlog of stories and plan their implementation by grooming the backlog and daily interacting with your implementation teammates.

The Product Manager will follow Agile XP practices that include discovery & framing requirements, co-lead team rituals such at weekly iterations, daily standups, regular retrospectives, and more.

The Product Manager will need to report team progress, negotiate work completion expectations, raise awareness of help outside the team, lead working to scope work, and communicate work objectives of the team.

The (Atlassian or Azure DevOps) DevSecOps tools will be deployed to multiple environments and infrastructure requiring you to understand differences and commonality in technical requirements, end-user needs, and security and compliance requirements. You will work with the customer's business and IT teams, technical teammates, and Client leadership and supporting teams on delivering software tools that enable the customer software development teams to improve their performance, quality, and value delivery.

You will (REQUIRED):

" Leverage knowledge of Agile disciplines and practices to lead a team of application administrators working to deliver, configure, maintain, and improve operations of a suite of COTS (Common Off The Shelf) software tools

" Leverage your extensive experience as a Product Manager to be the voice of the customer, gather functional and non-functional requirements, create user stories, decomposing user stories, prioritizing stories into an Agile backlog, planning and replanning one or more iterations of work for your team, and collaborating on retrospectives.

" Lead various meetings where you or your team need to gather information, develop a plan, set customer expectations, align your team, and set cadences for recurrence and follow-up on outcomes of those meetings.

" Understand the business needs and priorities in order to balance value delivery and implementation complexity.

" Extensive professional working experience with a backlog management application like Jira, TFS, or VersionOne is a must.

" Strong Microsoft Windows OS and Office user experience is essential

" 8 Years of relevant experience with DevSecOps solution architecture and tool deployment and maintenance

" Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience

" Extensive product management skills and experience
