Job Description

Authentication Infrastructure Business Intelligence/Database Specialist will be responsible for the development of dashboards for both management and operational support. In addition, familiarity of databases used by Authentication platforms critical to the enterprise is a plus. This role is part of a larger global team responsible for providing Automation and Data Analytics support for multiple Platform-based Authentication infrastructure team leveraged by all businesses across Major Global Bank.

Ideal candidate should be able to work in a well-defined team structure as well as independently with minimal supervision. Candidate should have a good command of English and possess strong oral and written business communication skills. Candidate should be a fast-learner and should be able to work well under pressure and competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Working independently using BRDs from teams to develop solutions for management and operational support.

• Perform post-deployment testing of solutions in individual environments

• Collaborate with Support teams to assist in integration-related activities

• Troubleshooting incidents and problems in a timely resolution as defined in SLAs

• Capacity, Performance and Stability reporting and Management

• Lead initiatives to develop/enhance tools for system monitoring and maintenance improvements

• Monitor the database environment, identify performance, trends and develop meaningful reporting, metrics and trending documentation to develop action plans

• Work with Database provisioning teams to create and maintain all the Oracle and SQL Server databases required for development, testing and production.

Support to resolve critical issues and implement production changes during weekends and outside working hours expected.

Experience and Skills

Must-have Skills

• 2 years' relevant industry experience in one or more of the following tools with experience in creating/setting up Dashboards:

o BI: PowerBI, Qlikview, Tableau, Cognos, Arcadia

o Big Data: Hadoop, Splunk, Cloudera

o Monitoring: AppDynamics and Sensu monitoring products

• Familiarity with IT Service Management processes and tools such as a Service Now

Desired Skills

• Python programming experience

• Oracle Database Administration on Oracle 12c/19c

• Experience with critical production database support, upgrades, and project lifecycle/ SDLC processes


• Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Mathematics, or IT related field) or equivalent work experience.
