Work with a world class team to provide enterprise-wide, Oracle Database Administration support for production systems and provide DBA services to application development teams, including database design, database generation, and database production support. Provide DBA support with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness. Provide accurate and creative solutions to user problems of moderate nature to ensure user productivity.

We are currently recruiting a DBA for our IT Services Organization. This person will be responsible to build out our DBA practice supporting US Commercial business primarily and other lines of business secondarily.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
Build and maintain Oracle databases
Performance tuning, query analysis, and maintenance routines.
Document configuration and optimization procedures.
Trouble-shooting and proactively managing highly technical system issues at tier-II support to the Incident Management and Change Management processes.
Ensure that all operational and administration activities are carried out with a focus on security and operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot database issues; maintain database systems availability
Create/maintain database related documentation
Follow change management process for all production changes
Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation with an expectation to work during mission critical events.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and experience:
5 years of mid-level Oracle DBA
Experience and knowledge of the Linux Operating System and Oracle.
Good analytical skills for troubleshooting problems, especially from remote locations.
Good customer service and communication skills
Oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster), Oracle Data Guard or Oracle GoldenGate a plus
