Risk ID – Technology Coordinator and Developer

The Technology Coordinator and Developer will join the Risk ID Data Science Team to act as a liaison to Technology to help coordinate development/enhancement/testing of Technology tool development, and perform analyzes and develop tools for quantifying the top, emerging, and other material risks of the firm. This individual will evaluate tooling, workflows, and alternative techniques for quantifying these risks and will execute technology and quantification analysis in effective and efficient manner. Also, this individual will work with colleagues on assessments and ranking of these tools, workflows and risks. This role will have a significant impact on the Risk ID Data Science program and the overall Risk ID program by completing complex deliverables, coordinating the Technology development of tools, directly developing and maintaining tools, and providing advice and counsel related to technology or operations decisions.

The Technology Coordinator and Developer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.


• This individual will be responsible for contributing to a fundamental upgrading of the Risk ID technology platform, as well as the oversight of the final platform. This work will be aligned with the transformation effort being undertaken across the firm.

• Drive change by partnering with business leadership and understanding the value proposition in the context of the business stakeholders.

• Develop effective and innovative solutions to meet the needs of stakeholders with best practices technology and workflow solutions.

• Lead projects across their lifecycle: identifying and structuring the problem, analyzing root causes, developing solutions, communicating project results, and obtaining buy-in for change.

• Identify opportunities to add value beyond the scope of formal projects.

• Contribute to continuous team improvement and management, e.g., provide leadership in recruiting, coach junior staff, etc.

• Develop and document internal Risk ID Tools to improve workflows, assess risks, and facilitate analyzes.

• Interact with firmwide reporting structures as needed to report on project status, raise/close issues, request review, provide assessments, follow up on outstanding items, and respond to unforeseen administrative requests as needed.

• Perform Data Science assessment and analyzes as needed to meet business needs.

• Review, document, and maintain Data Architecture components of the Risk ID target state.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
