Job Description:
Cyber Security & Networks Operations is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of Senior Technology Analyst for providing L3 support for the Security Infrastructure. He/she will be expected to oversee the Infrastructure projects, Security assessment, transition of Infrastructure and tools under global operational model, manage the production problems, root cause analysis/resolution for system issues, defects, and minor enhancements, supporting project transition, operations, and technology. This candidate should be a technical leader with excellent communication skills and in-depth background in UNIX technologies.
Candidate is expected to have a firm grasp of Security Concepts, system administration, network protocols, system monitoring, databases, and storage. The candidate will act as a member of quick-response project task-support team and will often work under demanding deadlines, operating as team member as well as independently to resolve complex problems. He/She Must be willing to work in an operational support environment and on weekends as needed.
The job is heavy on client interaction and requires excellent communication and documentation skills. Team player should be able to multitask and have the ability to work under pressure. Should also have the desire to learn new technologies and adopt to it

Technical Skills Required:
- Solid experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 & 7
- Experience with Oracle, Good knowledge on how to interface with these databases, analyze & write complex queries, stored procedures & SQL scripts
- Proficiency in Shell and Perl scripting will be considered a plus.
- Web Server experience with such as Apache HTTP Server
- Application Servers (WebLogic, IBM WebSphere & Apache Tomcat)
- Solid understanding of security and network concepts and protocols
- Good understanding of PKI concepts and standards.
- Familiarity of Compliance and risk management frameworks and methodologies (ISO27002, SDLC)
- OpenSSH and Tectia SSH -solid experience with how this is setup and public key authentication
- Good understanding of virtualization technologies and various Hypervisors including but not limited to VMware ESXi and guest VMs, LDOMs, LPARs.
- Knowledge of security tools and hands-on experience with some of the following technologies is an added advantage:
o Safeword Premier Access,
o Sun identity Manager,
o Total Authentication System
o Powerbroker
o Microsoft SharePoint
o ServiceNow
o CA Workload Automation AE/Autosys
o CyberArk
o Unix Security tools
o Kerberos
o Directory Server
- Experience on utilizing monitoring tools like:
o IBM Tivoli, Client SiteScope, ESM
- Understanding of Programming languages such as Core Java, C/C++
- Solid understanding of security and network concepts and protocols
- Good understanding of PKI concepts and standards.
- Good Understanding of storage types & technologies like NAS, SAN
- Certifications (CISSP, ITIL, CCNA/CCNP, CEH, RHEL) is a plus

- Sound problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills required.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical Application SME support for the Security Infrastructure and Applications.
- Production and UAT Environment setup
- Provide L3 Technical Support during off hours/weekends as needed
- Be the point of contact for the Level 2 Team escalation
- Support implementations on weekend coverage as Needed
- Capacity, Performance and Stability reporting and Management.
- Ability to read and analyze logs on UNIX, Linux systems from multiple servers
- Excellent Troubleshooting skills
- Lead initiatives to develop/improve scripts and other programs for system monitoring and maintenance.
- Provide Technical Mentoring.
- Lead Infrastructure projects and Security assessment for the infrastructure associated the applications in scope.
- Leadership Skills to Document and do knowledge transfer to other team members.
- Be responsible to assess the risk and associated impact of all operational issues and change events and react quickly to escalate to technology management in a timely manner when required.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure the operational requirements are met during the project transition
- Work with vendor support, Engineering teams, System administrators / architects on a regular basis and have the ability to track issues to closure as Level 3 SME
- Continuously keep the Knowledge Share repository up to date.
- Ability to work across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to work with demanding global partners within aggressive timelines; solid problem solving, analytical and technical abilities.
