Enterprise Resiliency Project Manager -
Major Global Bank's Enterprise Resiliency organization is seeking an experienced professional to manage a team of consultants supporting the implementation of new requirements for our Continuity of Business and Operational Resilience programs. Primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely assignment of work assignments and the development of metrics to track progress. The individual will work across Major Global Bank to further shape the implementation of an enhanced governance framework and roadmap for the organization
Job Description
The Enterprise Resiliency Project Manager will support project work associated with the implementation of an enhanced Continuity of Business (COB) testing and assessment framework updated in response to changing regulatory requirements. Primary responsibility will be to manage a team of contractors focused on the implementation of the enhanced governance framework that includes enhanced recovery scenarios as well as the validation of these scenarios for Maximum Tolerable Downtime (MTD) / Impact Tolerance as it applies to assessment, planning and testing. The position requires a candidate with the ability to lead a variety of activities simultaneously at a detailed level, good written and verbal communications skills with the ability to summarize and document execution metrics, as well as, the ability to interact with various levels of management. The candidate must be knowledgeable in both Continuity of Business and Operational Resilience frameworks and related regulatory requirements

Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of program/project management professionals hired specifically to perform business and process analysis to help define and support an enhanced governance solution for assessing disruption scenarios related to Maximum Tolerable Downtime (MTD) / Impact Tolerance identification including subsequent testing and validation of these activities
• Partner with leadership and maintain a calendar of activities to ensure timely completion of activities
• Periodically meet with project leads to validate work performed by the implementation team
• Develop metrics to track progress. Report on progress at least weekly
• Work with team to document the work flow and look for process improvement opportunities and simplification as the program progresses
• Working with the technology infrastructure group and line of business operational support teams to gather data needed to identify and assess impacts of shared infrastructure and application dependencies on franchise critical processes
• Collaborate and network to gather information internal and external to the organization to help guide business recommendations and ensure that business risks and results are documented
• Ensure project risks/issues are reported to the project management team

Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Master's degree in technology, business, or related discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in analytics and project management. Must be able to demonstrate project management experience in managing complex technology programs or projects with varied re Continuity of Business sources and target dates
• Background in and/or Operational Resiliency required
• Strong risk management acumen with the ability to identify risks and issues and work with businesses to establish and track mitigation plans
• Good understanding of financial services and financial markets with exposure to different kinds of banking and brokerage products/functions
• Ability to multi-task productively and reliably, while managing conflicting priorities with a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
• Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate with differing levels of management with a clear focus on obtaining consensus
• Ability to provide a creditable challenge on the work product delivered by the implementation team
• Strong Microsoft Office skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
