Job Description:
Business Analyst with system implementation and/or process re-engineering experiences in Risk and Finance and Risk areas. This role as a business to technology liaison will be responsible for performing business analysis activities in support of critical planning and execution of project deliverables related to technology infrastructure design, implementation, and migration. Core system development skills are not required, but a solid background in requirement gathering, testing, and implementation is a must. The ideal candidate possesses an eagerness to learn the current state in order to effectively implement a new application to manage the firm's inventory of models Model Inventory and help the team execute towards the target state. Existing knowledge of Major Global Bank Entities, Businesses, and reporting hierarchies is desirable but not required.

- [MUST] Design, plan and manage the data mapping and data migration process from legacy application systems to target system by identifying requirements to ensure proper handling of data migration between platforms, developing documentation detailing end-to-end data migration process, and creating legacy to target system data mapping
- [MUST] Facilitate the functional requirements design process with technology partners and consult on technical designs prepared by Application Development and third party teams
- [MUST] Analyze, design, plan and execute data migration tasks of process re-engineering system implementation with accuracy, completeness and within schedule
- [MUST] Design test scenarios and drive Data migration, UAT planning and execution, and implementation
- [MUST] Translate all process designs requirements into Business Requirement Documents with additional use cases, workflow, screen mock-ups, etc.
- [MUST] Provide analysis and interpretation of UAT results
- [MUST] Coordinate with business and technology partners to get feedback and sign-offs
- [MUST] Execute data migration from legacy platforms to new system on go-live date
- [Nice to have] Facilitate project calls, report on project work in project calls with Business and IT to review work status and provide communication related to team/project goals
- [MUST] Analyze current business and system processes for potential areas of improvement
- [MUST] Excellent analytical and technical skills to gather business requirements, including a good understanding of database design, data modeling, data warehouse SDLC, data transformations, data migration design, and implementation
- [MUST] Experience working in multi-discipline groups within large financial organizations to achieve successful and timely completion of the projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated abilities to effectively interact with people at all levels within the organization
- [MUST] Ability to quickly understand, dissect and solve complex problems and to prioritize and comprehend severity of risks/issues
- Strong leadership skills with excellent team work ethics
- [MUST] Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, experience with SharePoint configuration and maintenance a strong plus
- [Nice to have] A good understanding of FRB SR-11 framework is a plus
- Prior Major Global Bank experience preferred, experience with a Major Global Bank Key Initiative or GPMO requirements is a significant advantage
