Our client, a leading global financial services company, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 140 countries. They provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.

Job Purpose:
Legal documentation is an area of high focus within the Financial services Industry. The Major Global Bank is currently running a number of programs and will be initiating further, strategic, projects to create Bank wide platforms, enhanced processes and strong controls. Legal Documentation team are looking to recruit a highly effective Business Analyst to work closely with ISG Leadership, RLAU processing team, Legal and various Business lines in performing critical analysis related to Risk and Control and Regulatory initiatives affecting the overall legal documentation lifecycle. This role will expand into various initiatives including, but not limited to, translation and input of collateral schedules, analysis and documentation of current state processes, analysis and mapping of collateral types into more granular asset class hierarchies working with Operations &Technology (O&T), Business and Legal to define future state approach.

Key Responsibilities:

This role is for an experienced business analyst with a strong track record of delivering a high quality performance. Key areas of focus will include:
- High level of interaction with Legal, Margin Operations, Financial Resources Management (FRM) and various Business lines RLAU support
- Acquire detailed knowledge of Legal contract collateral eligibility schedules, meaning of data attributes and their use by MAC (Master Agreement Central) downstream consumers
- Deep dive analysis into current and future state processes as it pertains to collateral eligibility schedule data capture (alongside O&T, Legal, FRM, Margin Ops)
- Perform impact analysis comparing current to future state with a focus on Operational readiness
- Assist in the establishment of a data dictionary for all CSA (Credit Support Annex) terms and collateral types/ rules
- Perform extensive analysis of collateral eligibility schedules and mapping into detailed asset classes
- Assist in the development of enhanced procedures and more rigorous controls in the collateral space, including removal of redundancies
- Conduct full review of system data integrity and implement recommendations from findings
- Assist in the establishment of a data dictionary for all CSA (Credit Support Annex) terms and collateral types/ rules; gain in depth knowledge of their impact in downstream processes
- Work with RLAU team leads to raise the capacity through improved process flow and tactical fixes

Knowledge/Experience:
- 2 years Experience in business analysis within fast paced Financial Services team
- Knowledge of agreement types serviced (ISDA, SFT, Margin Loan, MSFTA, etc.) preferred - Not a Must
- Frequent participation in working groups, with proven ability to operate at all levels of seniority
- Ability to review and quickly interpret unfamiliar data; background in data management preferable
- Experience of working within a shared services function with a diverse client base
- Demonstrated experience of optimization in processes (legal/regulatory adherence an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of the Major Global Bank environment, understanding of products and services offered to clients
- Proven ability to interpret and implement change

- LEAN experience not essential but preferred
