Our client, a leading global financial services company, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 140 countries. They provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.

The key functional objectives:
Act as a database developer to support various Tax Information Reporting functions related to banking and investment financial products;
Leverage End User Computing products to execute critical analysis and processing functions related to Tax Information Reporting;
Assist a large global team of tax professionals with functional migrations of work into our centralized hub by reviewing existing and developing new End User Computing tools;
Work in a team to support business partners in various Tax information Reporting functions
Develop both technical and end-user documents related to End User Computing tools;
Support FRO's Service Delivery / Engagement model with client constituency and other key stakeholders;
Identify and participate in process reengineering and redesign to achieve better controls, compliance and efficiency;
Support internal and IRS audits, as well as any other special audits
Participate in self-assessment testing, MCA and SOX controls
Ensure tight controls over owned processes to include key controls and Continuity of Business

Advanced skills in Visual Basic development an absolute must
SQR, SQL, SQL Server, SQL Plus, SAL, Oracle development skills;
Expert level of proficiency in Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook required;
Basic understanding of U.S. Tax Information Reporting requirements preferred;
Excellent communication skills to drive engagement and close interactions with key stakeholders;
Ability to examine processes and procedures, experience with Process Re-engineering, Re-design and Process Automation is preferred;
Ability to act as a change agent for organizational and product transformational initiatives;
Project Management experience preferred and strong organizational skills a must;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team while driving results in compressed timeframes;
Ensure tight controls over owned processes to include key controls and Continuity of Business
