Our client, a leading global financial services company, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 140 countries. They provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.
More of a governance role - not much strategy focus. looking for a team coach
Spanish is a big plus but not required.
The Agile Team Coach role requires a candidate who is an educator, a coach, and a strong leader. This person thrives in a space where s(he) is advocating, challenging, and influencing both teams and leaders in seeing the benefits for adoption of Lean-Agile practices. The Agile Coach will partner with several SMEs within IT, business product teams, and functional areas across multiple sites and large-scale teams.
The candidate must be an experienced professional individual who has previously served as Agile coach within highly distributed team(s), and possesses experience leading Agile/Scrum adoption in the past. The Agile Team coach will provide guidance in both technical and non-technical areas such as facilitation, collaboration, continuous improvement, CI/CD, Quality Assurance, and DevOps.
The candidate is also responsible for the professional growth of our scrum masters and the scrum teams, contributing to developing subject matter expertise and the application of best practices.
-Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Agile Coach
-4+ years of experience in Product/Project Management
-PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Professional) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification
-Prior Financial Services/Banking Experience
-Strong knowledge of JIRA and Confluence - knowledge of other agile/collaboration tools is beneficial.
-Experience creating training presentations and/or videos
-BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
-Experience working within Agile Software Delivery using Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
-Facilitate learning and development through individual and team coaching
-Coach across different stages of an organization's agile journey, from introductory training and coaching to continuously improving high-performing teams.
-Agnostic approach to lean and Agile frameworks, helping teams to choose their ways of working based on their environment and challenges
-Implement effective governance, escalation and reporting
-Strong working knowledge of technical engineering best practices including test driven development, continuous integration, DevOps
-In-depth experience facilitating agile ceremonies and mentoring teams/individuals on agile values, design thinking, customer value, product management, etc.
-Experience leading training sessions and/or workshops
-Effectively communicate with all levels of management and proven ability to effectively influence senior executives in decisions critical to adoption and implementation of Agile practice.
-Excellent interpersonal communication and facilitation skills and proven ability to work with diverse personality types.
-Excellent skills and knowledge situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
