Job Description:
- Coordinate with operational teams to identify, prioritize and facilitate tracking and reporting of AML Sustainability projects
- Collaborate with knowledgeable and demanding stakeholders to establish and improve project plans for major initiatives
- Assist with resource requirements for key projects by partnering with project managers to understand scope of effort, deliverables, and project plans
- Assist with maintaining coherent and concise communications detailing the scope, progress and results of initiatives underway
- Help define and measure return on investment (ROI) and productivity/quality gains as a result of multiple initiatives.
- Review projects from a program management perspective to raise risks, identify related project, additional dependences, and possible conflicts
Qualifications
- A minimum Bachelor Degree, 7+ years of project management experience – preferably from a financial services environment
- Expert MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and presentation skills
- PMP certification strongly preferred, Six Sigma a plus
- Self-motivated, quick and assertive
- Extremely detailed oriented and organized
- Exceptional time management skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Cool, calm, collected, and collaborative; works well under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments; can shift readily between the "big picture " and the small-but-crucial details, knowing when to concentrate on each
- Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals
- Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics
- Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
- Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk
- Manage expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them; clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required
