Description
Top tier investment bank is seeking a PMO Analyst for the Strategic Access Control Initiative. This program is a major initiative for 2016-2018. Its aimed is to transform the bank's applications to meet key access control requirements in alignment with regulatory drivers.

The firm currently utilizes a number of access control solutions across its applications with varied compliance with regulatory access control requirements across these solutions.

A PMO is required to help govern the program and provide support to the Program manager.
  • Oversee all IT Program financials and resource management processes
  • Collaborate with project managers and PMO's to produce the annual budget/forecast for the Program and respective projects
  • Partner with IT workstream project managers to ensure projects are set-up and forecasted effectively and ensure forecast and actuals are in line with targets
  • Partner with the Demand Management and COO organizations to ensure resource roles are appropriately forecast and approved for hiring
  • Inform program participants of relevant timelines, requirements and deliverables
  • Produce and submit applicable reporting to internal and external stakeholders (IT Risk, Client Bank, TSS Management)
  • Provide transparency into program financials through careful monitoring of financials
  • Produce actuals, budget, forecast, run-rate, program, project financials reporting and provide commentary with reporting
  • Provide governance support to Program Manager -manage RAID log, prepare Steering Committee packs and take minutes

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • University degree (in accounting, business administration or another relevant field)
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in planning and forecasting, controlling and/or management consulting (preferably in Financial Services)
  • Expert level MS Excel skills , with experience in managing multi-million dollar budgets and allocations
  • Experience with OnePPM/Clarity, would be an asset
  • Understanding of program and project management standards (PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and tight timelines and the motivation to work intensely towards challenging goals
  • Excellent communication skills; confident, assertive and effective communicator
  • Knowledge of the client's technology landscape preferred
  • People leadership expertise, good motivator
  • Delivery focused and deadline driven
  • Ability to network, negotiate and influence, solid collaboration skills
  • Ability to gain consensus when faced with differing views
  • Solid client and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Able to target material and communication to a wide range of audiences at all levels in the organization
TOOLS:
  • Adept in using MS Office tools: SharePoint, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word etc.
  • Familiarity with OnePPM/Clarity Tool

PREFERRED BUT NOT MANDATORY:
  • Prior experience executing projects within an Investment Bank or global Financial Services firm
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Advanced graduate degree in an Information Technology or Financial discipline
