Our client, a leading global financial services company, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 140 countries. They provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.

Key Responsibilities
- Own content creation for 2 - 3 long - term content projects and sites. Includes:
o Work with regional business heads and product managers to ensure content is serving business objectives and meeting KPIs
- Collaborate with agency partners to ensure that content is engaging, accurate and optimized for search
- Oversee business, legal and compliance review of content and imagery
- Identify relevant paid/owned/earned content amplification opportunities
- Produce and oversee creation of weekly content (infographics, videos, articles or other new formats)
- Review analytics and optimize content to ensure that traffic/engagement goals and program KPIs are being met
- Contribute to development of broader content strategy, user experience and design for the Global Consumer Bank
- Act as liaison with global social media team and regional marketing heads to provide guidance and content marketing best practices in each market
- Collaborate closely with partners and serve as strategic voice for steering content programs to ensure partner business objectives are successfully served through content
- Collaborate with regional social media teams and Global Media team to ensure that content is being amplified through social media and/or syndication partners

The ideal candidate
- Has 7+ years editorial content experience, working for a publisher or brand with significant focus on content
- Has a deep understanding of personal finance and ability to write comfortably about credit, mortgage products, retirement, money management and investments
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Is comfortable within a matrixed corporate environment and able to influence partners through deck storytelling
- Has experience editing and assigning content ideas to contributors, writers and/or agency partners
- Has extensive experience with social media
- Understands how to leverage Conductor or other SEO tools to inform content strategy and optimization for search
- Is detail - oriented and an eagle - eyed proofreader
- Is an exceptional project manager
- Able to multitask, prioritize assignments, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Is web savvy, an avid reader, stays on top of content trends, understands social networking, content marketing and digital media trends
- Is a strong writer with an eye for a story and the ability to distill complex concepts into engaging content
- Has experience working with a variety of amplification partners and tactics (paid, owned and earned strategies)
- Has project managed design and development of landing pages and content sites
- Gets hands dirty – enjoys rolling up sleeves and figuring things out
